CHOIR RECRUITMENT NIGHT AT ST. PAUL'S IN NORTHPORT
Nourish your soul and those of others! According to the Sing Up Foundation, "There's a wealth of research that proves the benefits of singing on health and wellbeing across the lifespan." Consider lending your voice to the choir at Northport's St. Paul's United Methodist Church starting this coming fall! Come to our recruitment event at 6:30 p.m. on August 8 to learn what it's all about, enjoy light refreshments, and see our historic and acoustically rich sanctuary. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER of the church -- just willing to sing with others! Meet our Director of Music, Northport resident and music educator Amanda Whaley, who is planning some fun activities for the event. ANYONE INTERESTED, regardless of music/singing background, is welcome. Call or email with any questions: (631) 261-0804; spumc@optimum.net.
